The reference price for GPU hardware.
Real-time, VWAP-weighted benchmark pricing for GPU hardware. Grade-normalized across conditions, built from verified market data.
How the index works.
The Stoa Index aggregates transaction data from multiple verified source categories, normalizes for hardware condition, and publishes VWAP-weighted reference prices.
Aggregate
Collect price observations from verified secondary market dealers, public retailers, and OEM channels daily.
Normalize
Adjust all observations to a Grade A equivalent using condition multipliers. Filter outliers using trimmed mean methodology.
Publish
Compute VWAP-weighted index values across source categories. Publish reference prices for each tracked variant.
Tracked variants.
H100 SXM5
Data center GPU with NVLink. Primary variant for large-scale AI training.
H100 PCIe
PCIe form factor for standard server deployments.
H100 NVL
NVLink-optimized pair for inference workloads.
Who uses the index.
Lending Collateral Valuation
Lenders use the index to mark GPU-backed loan collateral to market daily, replacing internal estimates with an independent reference price.
Inventory Valuation
Data centers and dealers value their GPU holdings against the index for financial reporting, insurance, and asset management.
Trading Benchmark
Brokers and dealers anchor bid/ask pricing to the index, enabling faster deal execution and reducing friction.
Depreciation Tracking
Operators track hardware depreciation against market prices rather than accounting schedules, reflecting actual residual values.
